- Pizza Cutter (optional)
Ingredients
- CRUST
- 2.65 oz 98% Ground Turkey (75 grams)
- .35 oz 93% Ground Turkey (25 grams)
- ½ t. Minced garlic
- ½ t. Dried Italian Herb Mix
- ¼ T. Kosher Salt
- ⅛ t. Fresh Ground Pepper
- ⅛ t. Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
- TOPPINGS
- ¼ c. Favorite Jarred Marinara Sauce (no added sugar, under 5g fat per serving)
- 1 oz. Fresh Mozzarella Cheese (torn)
- 3 sl. Pepperoni cut into 12 pieces (⅛ oz)
- 1 T. Grated Parmigiano or Pecorino Romano (optional)
- 1 T. Fresh Chopped Basil (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven on Broil (HIGH)- place oven rack on top rung.
- Spray sheet tray with cooking spray, set aside.
- Mix together crust ingredients using fork.
- Fold parchment paper in half, open, lay flat and spray entire sheet with cooking spray.
- Place crust “dough” just next to fold crease. Fold over parchment and roll crust out to 1/8” thickness.
- Carefully peel back parchment paper, using rubber spatula if necessary and flip crust onto prepared sheet tray.
- Place under broiler for 3-5 minutes.
- Remove from over, flip over with metal spatula and add Sauce.
- Place sauced crust back under broiler for another 3-5 minutes to caramelize and bake the sauce a little.
- Remove from oven, top with cheese and pepperoni.
- Place under broiler again until cheese is melted – another 3-5 min.
- Remove from oven. Place on cutting board, slice into pieces.
- Serve with a simple arugula and radicchio salad with a drizzle of Balsamic Vinegar and a pinch of salt and pepper - ENJOY!!
